Jordan Salgado Urrutia was born in Santiago, Chile in 1995. He received the Lic. degree in engineering science at Universidad de Santiago de Chile in 2017 and He is finishing his studies to get his B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering at the same university. He is working on the thesis theme “Design and implementation of a prototype of a synchronous buck multiphase converter ”, this converter will be used in a prototype of fast charger for electric vehicles that will be developed in the same university, the project is guided by Dr. Ing Félix Rojas Lobos. His research interest includes control algorithms in power electronics and power electronics applied in electromobility and renewable energy. He has worked in the University of Santiago as tutor in the Equity and Permanence Inclusive Access Program, also as assistant in the laboratory of power electronics.
